Quiet by Susan Cain

Then I read Quiet. And it felt soothing. Susan Cain didn’t just describe introverts—she explained a world that didn’t quite know what to do with them. She made it clear that being quiet isn’t a gap to fill. It’s a strength with a different
rhythm.

This book helped me to stop treating my silence like a problem. I stopped forcing myself—and others—into personality development classes we never asked for. I started listening to the thinkers in the room who don’t always jump in. I noticed how often their words carried more weight because they weren’t performing.

Now, I understand that being quiet isn’t the opposite of leadership. It’s just another way to lead. And this definitely does not need fixing.
